Refreshing two workplace buildings to support a new chapter of campus life
A large-scale workplace renewal that updated two key campus buildings to support collaboration, wellbeing, and a more connected employee experience.
Buildings 950 and 1000 sit at the centre of LinkedIn’s Sunnyvale campus. Working alongside the LinkedIn, our project management team supported the renewal of both buildings, aligning them with the latest workplace standards and supporting a stronger return to campus.
The project refreshed key amenities, including dining spaces, cafés, lounges, and wellness areas, while introducing more adaptable work settings to support collaboration, focus, and informal connection. A stronger relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces was also created through terraces, green space, walking paths, and bike-friendly access.
- Bringing older buildings up to current workplace standards: Updating Buildings 950 and 1000 to reflect LinkedIn’s latest workplace standards and employee expectations.
- Encouraging a return to campus: Creating an environment that felt more engaging, social, and relevant to the way people work today.
- Supporting a broader range of work styles: Introducing settings for focused work, collaboration, informal meetings, and time away from the desk.
- Creating a stronger connection to the wider campus: Ensuring the buildings felt integrated with surrounding outdoor spaces, amenities, and movement paths.
The completed renewal has transformed Buildings 950 and 1000 into more active, flexible, and people-focused workplace environments.
Key outcomes include:
- Renewed dining and café spaces that encourage teams to spend more time on campus.
- A wider mix of work settings, from focused work to informal collaboration.
- Outdoor spaces and walking paths more closely integrated into the workplace experience.
- Improved wellbeing through upgraded lounges, wellness areas, and employee amenities.
Two buildings that now align with LinkedIn’s current workplace vision and campus standards.
The renewal of Buildings 950 and 1000 at LinkedIn’s Sunnyvale campus demonstrates how workplace environments can evolve to meet changing expectations. By bringing together more adaptable work settings, upgraded amenities, and stronger connections to the wider campus, LinkedIn created a more engaging workplace experience that supports collaboration, wellbeing, and a stronger sense of connection.
